To start, click on the model sprite.

Then, from the data menu, choose “make a list.” Name your list something related to what the model will say. This project names the list “others on stage.”

Use the plus button in the list to add the phrases that you want the model to say when they enter the stage. If you want to delete an item, click inside of it and click the "x" to remove it.

Add as many items to your list as you’d like. Try adding some phrases related to your project!

You can hide or show this list using the checkbox next to the name of the list.

Now that you have a list: Drag out a “say” block, then add the “item of list” block inside it. To make your model sprites say random items instead of going down the list in order, click the dropdown button on the “item” block, and click “random.” Test your code by clicking on the block several times. You'll see that the sprite says a random item from the list with each click. To make your models say an item from your list as they come on stage, snap the "say" block you created under the "When I start as clone" block. When each member of the sprite is cloned, it should now say one random sentence from your list. Test your code!
