We at CS First hope you had a great time in the club, and gotten a taste of all the thingsyou can build using computer science and Scratch.
Today, you're gonna have a lot of freedomto build any project that you want, but first, build a 'thank you' measurefor the teacher who has hosted this club for you.
So make sure to give them a big shout-outin your project and let them knowthat you appreciated their time.
You should include in your projectall of the following:A 'thank you' to your teacherwho is hosting the club.
What you thought about this club.
What is the one thing you learnedabout computer scienceor yourself during the club?
You can make this projectas simple or as complex as you would like, and feel free to ask for help.
In this example, when the green flag is clicked,Pico starts to thank their teachers.
A message about what was learned, glides to the top of the screen, and 'CS First was fun!'glides and changes colors.
In another program,Cassie thanks my teacherswhile dancing and playing a hip hop sound.
'CS First taught me Computer Science'slowly increases in sizeand the monkey says,"I learned this with computer science."
When you've finished building your 'thank you' project, you can build something totally new, return to work on one of your projectsfrom a previous day,or you can go to the CS First site, and the Create tab,and check out the instructionsfor a different CS First club.
If you want more ideas for your 'thank you' project, click on the next pageto see a list of optional add-ons,that you can do.
Now it's your turn:Login to Scratch and name your project'CS First Thanks'.
And create something that hasa thank you to your teacher who is hosting the club.
