7. Wrap-up: Style Board

Transcript

Congratulations on building your style board.

You used many events to cause specific code to run during your project to make different images appear at specific times.

In this club you've used computer science to be creative and to bring your own ideas to life.

Check out how computer science is used to make amazing animations at Pixar Studios.

My name is Danielle Feinberg.

I am a Director of Photography for Lighting at Pixar Animation Studios.

There's a million things you can do with code in animated films.

You could use code to make a leaf flutter.

You can make a giant head of red, curly hair that moves appropriate with the character.

You can make water.

You can make schools of fish with code.

You can have a car drive on a road with code.

You can make cloth that moves with the characters.

There's so many things you can do with it.

It just goes on and on and on.

This is a cool way people are using computer science in the arts to create engaging and beautiful animated stories.

In the next club session, you'll build your own viral video animation.
