Today you’re going to tell a story about two characters traveling to their favorite place.

You’ll tell this story using dialogue. Dialogue is a conversation between two or more people.

As a storyteller, there are different ways you can communicate to the audience.

You can tell a story through a narrator.

Or, you can tell the same story using dialogue.

Dialogues can help you demonstrate what’s happening, instead of describing it.

The characters you choose could be you and a friend, or two animals exploring their favorite place.

You decide!

You’ll use dialogue to move the story forward.

Next, I’ll show you how to get started by adding your characters and a backdrop.
