This video will guide you through opening a starter project
and creating a Scratch sign in.
Watch this video to learn how, then try it on your own.
Look for the starter project link next to this video.
Click it to open Scratch in a new tab.
To switch back and forth from the videos on CS First
and your project in Scratch,
click the tabs on the top of your browser.
Next, create a Scratch account to save your project.
If you already have a Scratch account, you can use it to sign in.
Creating an account is optional and requires an e-mail address,
so if you’re not able to create an account, that’s OK.
But, be aware that
you won’t be able to save any of your work without an account.
If you aren’t creating an account,
skip to the next video now by clicking the green arrow.
To create an account, click “Remix.”
This opens a sign-in window.
Click “join Scratch,” and choose a username and password.
Write down this information, so you can use it later.
Follow the directions to create your account.
Once you’ve finished signing in, click the CS First tab to return to this page,
and click the green arrow to move on to the next video.
Now, it’s your turn:
Click the starter project link next to this video.
Then, if you’d like to save your project,
click remix, and create a Scratch account.
After completing these steps,
click the green arrow below this video to move on.
