This video will give you a couple of ideas
for programming more characters for your story.
The new character needs to be a sprite.
Click choose sprite from library to pick your character.
Or, duplicate the monster to reuse the show feelings blocks.
You can also add a monster from
one of the other starter projects.
Navigate to the first video and select
a different starter project.
Add the monster to your backpack.
Then, click back to your project and open your backpack.
Drag the new monster sprite to the sprites area.
You may need to refresh your project
so the monster appears in your backpack.
In this example, the second monster
is a duplicate of the first, with some changes to the code.
There are wait blocks added to synchronize the conversation,
allowing the new character to add its comments.
Now it's your turn.
Add another sprite to your project.
Have the sprite interact with your monster.
Consider using different looks and control blocks.
Program your monster to have a sound effect with each statement and animation.
Change the scene effect to reflect your monster's expression.
Animate the monster's body parts.
Add a smokey effect to show the monster is upset.
Use the drawing tools to add your own monster expression.
