In this add-on, you'll add a prop to your story.
Props can make a story more fun and interesting!
To start, select the prop sprite and the costumes tab.
Check out the different costumes.
Click to choose one that fits your story.
Next, make the prop appear when it's mentioned in the story.
Click the scripts tab.
The starter project contains code for the prop sprite that says, "when the flag is clicked,
Program the sprite to show after a set period of time.
From control, add a "wait" block under the "hide" block.
From looks, add a "show" block to the bottom of the code stack.
Click the flag to test.
The prop sprite hides, waits one second, then shows.
Change the value in the "wait" block to make the prop hide until the sprite mentions the prop.
Next, program the sprite to glide on stage when it shows.
Click the prop sprite on the stage, and drag it to where it will start.
Select the motion menu, and add a "go to xy" block under the "when flag clicked" block.
The x and y values in the block reflect the sprite's current position on the stage.
To make the sprite glide after waiting, drag the sprite to where it will glide on the stage,
and add a "glide" block under the "show" block.
The values in the "glide" block update in the blocks palette to reflect the sprite's
Awesome! The sprite hides, waits a few seconds,
then shows and glides on stage.
Now, it's your turn: Choose a costume in the props sprite.
Program the sprite to wait then show.
Drag the sprite to where it will start, and add a "go to xy" block.
Drag the sprite to where it will glide, and add a "glide" block.
