Transcript

In this add on, you will make the game much more challenging by requiring the user to repeatedly press a key to keep the sprite in flight.

To prevent the player from holding down the space bar, add a wait until block, a not block and a key press block.

This combination reads, wait until the space key is no longer being pressed.

Add this block to the when space key pressed event so the user has to repeatedly press the space key, to keep this sprite in flight.

Try it out.

Hmmmm, this looks like it works but its really hard to move the bird up.

Put a larger number in the change y block.

This is example uses a value of 30.

Click the flag to test.

Cool, tinker with the value in the change y block, to get your game to work the way you want.

Now its your turn, make the game much more challenging, by requiring the user to repeatedly press a key using wait until, a not and a key space press block.

Change the value in the change y block until the difficulty level is right for your game.
