In this ad on, you will add a crowd of sprites
that appear and cheer when the A key is pressed.
To get started, select a new sprite from the library
to add as part of your crowd.
This example uses "Giga"
but you can select any sprite you like.
Now, you need to program your crowd sprite when it appears.
In this example, the crowd will glide to a location
on the stage.
Say, " I love this mix!"
And jump up and down ten times.
To start, set the starting location of the sprite
using a go to block.
Then make it glide to a new location using a glide block.
Make the crowd cheer by using a say block
and connect it to the glide block.
In this example the crowd says,
"I love this mix!"
but you can make the crowd say whatever you like.
To make the crowd sprite look like it is jumping up and down
use the change y by, wait, and repeat blocks.
Tinker with the value in the blocks
until you find a jump you like.
You also want the crowd to show up
when the user likes the music
To make that happen, use a when key press block.
Also make the DJ sprite say, "Instruction"
so the user knows which key to press.
Finally, make the sprite hide
when the green flag is clicked
and show when the A key is pressed.
Ad more crowd members by right-clicking on your sprite,
and selecting duplicate.
Then tinker with the costumes, glide,
and go to blocks until you are happy with the results.
You can also make each member of the crowd
do different things.
Test different blocks from the motion and looks menus,
like next costume, change x, glide, or any other blocks.
Go ahead and explore.
Now it's your turn.
Add a new crowd sprite from the library.
Set a starting location for the crowd sprite
using the when green flag clicked
and go to x, y, blocks.
Make the crowd do something cool when the A key is pressed
And finally ad more crowd members.
