In this screencast, you'll make the sprite look like it is walking, and add the sound of footsteps.

(door creaking) (dog barking)

To make a walking sprite, you need a sprite with multiple costumes.

If a sprite doesn't have multiple costumes, you need to pick a sprite that does.

Click on the sprite you wanna use to walk.

Then choose Choose Costume from Library.

Add all the costumes you need to make the sprite walk from this screen.

Add all the costumes you need, and then delete the leftover costumes.

Use a forever block, a wait block, and a next costume block to animate the sprite.

Next, make your sprite's footsteps make a sound, just like a sound artist in a real movie.

Do this by getting the sound footsteps and have it play in a new block stack.

(footsteps)

Place the play sound until done block with the footsteps sound in another forever loop.

(footsteps thudding) (bell tolling)

(door creaking) (dog barking)

Now it's your turn.

If your sprite doesn't have multiple costumes, change the costumes to one of the walking sprites.

Then, build the code to animate your sprite and add the sound of footsteps.
