In this video, you will add a character to your project.
You’ll use this character to tell others about something you care about.
You can pause this video to add to your project, or you can watch the entire video, and then complete the steps.
To start, make this sprite talk. Select the Looks menu.
Click, hold, and drag out a few “say for 2 seconds” blocks.
Think about what your character could say to get your audience’s attention.
You might start with a phrase like, “I’m passionate about…” or “I care about…”
Click the block stack to test.
These blocks run in order.
This is called *sequencing code.* Write more phrases and sentences in the other “say”
blocks to make the Sprite deliver a message about your interest.
Add as many “say” blocks as you’d like.
To start your program when the flag is clicked, select events and add a “when flag clicked”
block to the top of the stack.
Click the flag on the top of the stage now to run your code.
